Sponsorship Information
Dear Supporter of the Phoenix Zoo,
The support of our community has allowed the Phoenix Zoo to grow from a small, non-profit zoo in the desert to an internationally recognized leader in wildlife conservation and education.
The Phoenix Zoo is home to more than 1,300 animals. With habitats and environments that entertain, educate and inspire visitors, we have built one of the best zoos in the country and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Arizona, second only to the Grand Canyon, serving more than 1.4 million visitors each year. This very special place in the heart of the Phoenix community provides exceptional fun and recharging for body and spirit with activities and environments that foster informal learning and enrich the lives of humans and animals alike.
The Wildest Club in Town is hosting the 2nd Annual ZooRide event. ZooRide is a unique event to support the Phoenix Zoo. It combines two motorcycle Poker Runs with the music, lunch, raffle, and a day at the Phoenix Zoo. Please join us on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 8am to 4pm.
The Phoenix Zoo has recently acquired two new Tigers, Jai and Hadiah. They are Sumatran Tigers, which originated from an island off the coast of Malaysia. There are less than 500 of these animals left in the world due to destruction of their habitat and poaching.
Proceeds, sponsorship funds, and donations from ZooRide 2009 will benefit the new Sumatran Tigers and their exhibit at the Phoenix Zoo.
We would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to participate in ZooRide as one of our highly valued sponsors. If you have any questions about the benefits included with our sponsorship levels, please feel free to contact us. The final paperwork deadline is Friday, October 2nd. We look forward to counting you as one of our partners.
Thank you for your kind consideration and generosity
